It's being almost 1 year I have a good experience as Volunteer and want to continue forever .This experience helps me in my career in future . I understood how to engage with people and work together together. I learn about team work , leadership . My communication skills has been improved .
Volunteering in CREASION has opened my eyes to new opportunities, I have always assumed giving back to society wouldn't be as easy as taking. For the longest time, I held on to the belief that working for change required plenty of skills and knowledge. All of this changed when I got a chance to volunteer. This is how I choose to give to the community what it truly deserves.
Being a part of CREASION has been an enriching experience for me. Working as the Communications Officer for the Waste Workers Emergency Relief Project (WWERP) and getting to work on the ground hearing and documenting the stories of stakeholders, partners, and waste workers has provided me a good learning experience. I am thankful to be able to be a part of the team, learn through and with them and provide support to the ones who need it at this time of crisis.
Through volunteering, I choose to challenge myself with something that I have never done before. I feel like volunteering is an opportunity to gain experience and skills, utilize those aptitudes and experience for something worthy.
